Geometry Information	MF has a sharp, positive geometry with an optimized chipbreaker giving excellent chip control and surface finish at small depths of cut and small feed rates which is ideally suited to fine finishing operations. A good finishing type light cutting geometry with low cutting forces suitable for slender shafts, thin-walled and unstably clamped components and where a good surface finish is a priority. The positive geometry minimizes the tendency for smearing (built-up edge formation) leading to good surface finish and long tool life primarily in Stainless Steels and HRSA materials.
