Hi, you are bidding on a new winter party dress for your American Girl Samantha Parkington doll. This dress has been retired by AG. This set was made to coordinate with the short story "Samantha's Winter Party." It was the first time that AG made an outfit to go with one of the short story books. The tags read "Made in China especially for Pleasant Company" making this set pre-Mattel. This fancy blue crepe dress has a dropped waist, a French blouson top, and a wide satin sash that ties in the back into a big bow. This auction is for the dress and hanger only. It comes new in a clear plastic bag. All of my items come from a non-smoking home.
