Large Limoges T&V punch bowl with footed stand. Hand-painted with images of grapes and leaves on interior and exterior. Base is hand-painted earth tones with gilded gold legs and gold gild trim along the top scalloped edge of bowl.
Marked T&V Limoges France Depose on bottom, indicating that it was handmade in the factory owned by Tressemann & Vogt. The stand has the mark T&V Limoges France on its base.
Both pieces were manufactured sometime around the turn of the twentieth century....1895-1899. The punchbowl is beautifully hand painted in shades of green, blue, gold and purple with grapes, leaves and earth tone background.
This French porcelain masterpiece measures 13 inches in diameter and stands 9.75 inches tall These pieces are in excellent condition in all facets except one chip 3/8" long on top of base(not seen when assembled, see pics)
