For sale is a 50s Omega sub-second stainless steel manual winding watch Ref. 2540, 100% Omega made, watch only no box or paper, the watch size is approximately 32mm in diameter (without crown), 33mm (with crown), and 38mm from top to bottom, below is a brief description:

  • Case = original stainless steel brushed case body had never been polished before, some wear throughout, no rust or corrosion
  • Caseback = snap style caseback has some light wear, no rust or corrosion
  • Crystal = acrylic crystal has minor wear
  • Dial = 100% original Omega signed white dial has some minor aging and wear on surface (see pictures), original gold color dart shape markers have some wear, marked "SWISS MADE" at bottom
  • Hands = original gold color sword style hands have some wear, original matching glowing yellowish patina, works correctly
  • Movement = original Omega-signed Cal. 265 manual winding movement is in running condition, not guarantee waterproof or accuracy, has not been serviced before.
  • Crown = original Omega-signed crown is good, can wind and set time
  • Band = comes with a generic burgundy color leather strap in 18mm width
