How Much Hair Do I Need?

 

Determining the right amount of hair needed for your nano hair extensions depends on various factors such as your desired volume, current hair thickness, and the length you wish to achieve. Our nano hair extensions are sold in bundles, with each bundle containing 50 grams of hair. Here's a general guideline to help you decide how many bundles you'll need:

  • 1 Bundle (50g): Ideal for subtle enhancements, filling in thin areas, adding highlights, or incorporating a few strands of bright color.

  • 2 Bundles (100g): Recommended for fine to medium hair thickness, ideal for adding volume and thickness. Perfect for individuals looking to enhance their hair's fullness and body without extending the full head.

  • 3 Bundles (150g): Suitable for a full head extension for fine to medium hair types or for those looking to add noticeable volume and length. For a full head, usually 150g-200g is enough, depending on hair thickness.

  • 4 Bundles (200g): Perfect for a full head extension for medium to thick hair types. For extreme volume and very thick hair, 250g is optional, this is the maximum amount we would recommend.

It's essential to consider your hair's natural density and the level of volume and length you desire when determining the quantity of hair extensions needed. If you're unsure, consult your hair stylist for advice.

With nano-ring extensions, it's important to note that regular maintenance is required. These extensions typically need to be re-adjusted every 2-3 months. During this period, some hair loss is expected as a natural part of the process. It is not uncommon to lose a few strands due to washing, brushing, and everyday use in general. Therefore, if you are not sure if 150g is enough or maybe you need 200g, we always recommend purchasing 200g. This extra hair can be useful during re-fits or as a top-up if necessary.
