Take a look at this update on the classic cable knit, a chunky knit that's not heavy to wear thanks to the lofty yarn we've used.  It's THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED this traditional knit with an elliptical hem at the front which is a little lifted and more flattering to wear.

Talking of spinning a yarn, we have a story to tell, a fisherman's tale that's actually true. The much-loved cable knit was originally created over a hundred years ago for fishermen of the Aran islands, just off the coast of Ireland. It can really blow a gale out there and it gets pretty chilly on a boat, so these chunky knits kept seafarers warm and snug.  A little decorative too, with their intricate patterns inspired by fishing rope.

Toasty enough that you won’t be lost at sea in those winter months, layer it up with a warm coat on really chilly days, or treat it as a top layer on its own during more changeable seasons.
