ANTI POLICE RIGHTS SUPRESSION BUTTON

1 1/2" with lock pin - Made in the USA

SAY CHEESE!

In 1979, it became apparent that police departments around

the U.S.A. were worried that illegal actions by the men and

women of law enforcement, hired to protect and serve citizens,

were being captured by photographers.  Many arrests resulted

with photographers being told they could not take pictures of

police making arrests or acting illegally (or legally).  We news

cameramen wore these pins to show police officials that we

had the right to photograph them and would continue to do so.

Designed and produced by Fox Buttons, this message button was worn by media

members at demonstrations, rallies, and other events around the country.
