Clearly dated " 1911 " ( see the photos ) - this is an early appearance of this linen book.
( possibly the first edition thus ; later printings from the 1930s say " Linenette " on the front cover )

It should be noted that the " copyright 1911 " printing is very scarce.

Beautiful art in the nouveau style by British artist Gordon Robinson ( born 1885 ).

Condition.
Worn, as is common for antique children's books.
( see the photos ).
Split at the spine, along the juncture of the front and rear covers.
Both covers and all pages remain attached.
( the covers remain attached by the linen cloth on the inside surface of the covers )
The rear cover has staining ( see the photos ).
Attachment of the covers could be easily strengthened with a little carefully applied glue, however this has not been done as yet.
Some curling at the top-outside corner of the pages.
Some staining in a few spots.
A little wear at the outer edge of the linen pages.
Old pencil price at the upper corner of the second page.
