Original Vintage 1970 Sports Illustrated poster measures 24" x 36" and pictures Detroit Red Wings Gordie Howe.

Gordie Howe was the original GOAT, playing an incredible 25 years for the Red Wings. Upon his retirement from the NHL, his 802 goals, 1049 assists and 1850 total points were all NHL records that stood until surpassed by Wayne Gretzky. 

Howe, "Mr. Hockey", was a 23-time NHL All-Star, won the Art Ross Trophy for most points 6 times, the Hart Trophy as the NHL MVP 6 times, and won 4 Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings. He also led the NHL in playoff points 6 times. 

This poster is in very nice condition, with some small light edge dings, a 1" corner crease on the bottom right corner, and a tiny thumb tack hole in each corner. Ther is a tiny ding/tear/hole with no paper loss on the upper left in the spectator section. There is no tape, or tape marks on the poster, - less usual for a poster over 50 years old.
