T-shirt containing artwork of the coveted Pour le Mérite (Blue Max) medal. The Pour le Mérite was one of the highest orders of awards given for military valor in the Prussian and Imperial German military – notably it was nicknamed "The Blue Max" during World War 1 when it was notoriously awarded to ace fighter pilots in the German air force. This was the medal worn prominently by Baron Manfred von Richthofen, a.k.a. the Red Baron, who was credited for shooting down 80 enemy aircraft.

The artwork is a blue Maltese cross design decorated with golden eagles in the corners, with the phrase "Pour leMe' rite" [sic] in the proper French text meaning "For Merit" on each arm of the cross, with the Prussian royal cypher on top; the F is for King Frederick II of Prussia.

Artwork is blue and gold and measures 9.5 inches wide in the center chest, on your choice of a black, white, light grey, royal blue, or navy blue. Please choose your shirt color and size in the dropdown menu above.
