Cute Vintage 1950s-1960s Post-War Shanghai Doll Factory Jointed Teddy Bear Wool or Mohair and Hard Stuffed with Excelsior.

I recently purchased a collection of antique and vintage Steiff animals and more from the estate of a couple who owned an antique shop in New York about 30 years ago. Please check out my other listings for more Steiff and other antique/vintage stuffed animals!

This cute bear is original but shows lots of signs of age and wear and has been well loved. He is a bit bent out of shape from being improperly stored in a trunk for years. You may be able to bend him back into shape but I have not tried. His has a seam split at his neck where you can see the inner excelsior. There are also patches of missing wool or mohair - primarily on his leg. Please see all photos for best idea of condition.
