The commemorative coin is dedicated to one of the most popular Ukrainian humorist poets, Honored Worker of the Arts of Ukraine, winner of the Ostap Vyshna Prize (1988), the first winner of the Petro Sahaidachny Prize (1996) - Pavlo Prokopovich Glazov. The inexhaustible sources of the humorist's creativity are the treasures of the living language, sparkling pearls of folk wisdom. The poet-satirist's humor is benevolent, cheerful; fables are characterized by wit and aptness; many works have the features of a folk joke and add to a good mood. The writer's love for his native land, his people, affection for the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian art, brought to people in a humorous form, cheers them up in the most difficult moments of life, and creativity is an open page of the cheerful nature of the Ukrainian people.

On the obverse side of the coin, on a mirror background, the inscription UKRAINE (in a semicircle) is placed at the top, to the right of which is the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the coin minting year 2022; in the center of the composition: on the background of a stylized open book - a rocking chair, over which the artist's muse (poet-satirist) flies, on the right are theatrical masks that symbolize the theater of life, in which the poet exposes and ridicules negative phenomena; below, in a semicircle, the denomination of the coin is 2 hryvnias; logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (bottom right).

On the reverse of the coin is placed: on the background of a stylized open book in a cartoon style – a portrait of a humorist poet, around which the inscriptions: SMILES (vertically on the left), FABLES (vertically on the right), HUMORS (below the portrait); on the left and right on the mirror background are the images of the heroes of his cartoons; inscriptions below: 1922 2004 (years of the poet's life); PAVLO GLAZOVY (half circle).
