SAAB stands for Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (Swedish Aeroplane Co.), and from the outset the cars were given the flowing lines that are second nature to aircraft builders. Unusual, but certainly not unpleasant, looks gave early Saabs a special appeal. Illustrated here are three 'Classics' from the company; the respected rally winning 96 which was produced for nearly twenty years, the innovative Saab 99, Europe's first mass-produced turbocharged car when introduced in 1978 and the 900 of the mid-1980s, a model which maintained the company's reputation for performance and individuality, the latter a quality that applied in particular to the body shape, which seemed to follow no orthodox aesthetic rules yet did not offend the eye.

Printed on thick 230gsm paper it is suitable for framing with a mount or without. We are offering this fine art print in mint, unissued condition (wrapped in cellophane).
