The Fox 985‑62‑008 Performance Series 2.0 Snap Ring Coil‑Over IFP Shock is a direct‑fit front suspension upgrade for 2015–2020 Ford F‑150 trucks with rear‑wheel‑drive. This coil‑over shock features Fox’s Internal Floating Piston technology, which keeps nitrogen gas separated from the shock oil for consistent damping performance and reduced fade under demanding driving conditions. The robust 2.0" impact‑extruded and CNC machined aluminum body is lightweight and corrosion resistant, built to handle both on‑road comfort and off‑road rigors.
Adjustable preload allows you to dial in 0", 1", or 2" of front lift without changing your stock coil springs, making it ideal for leveling or mild lift kits. The custom‑molded spring seat reuses the factory springs and hardware for a straightforward bolt‑on installation. Precision valving and heavy‑duty spherical bearings ensure improved handling and stability over stock shocks. The 985‑62‑008 is sold individually; replacing both front shocks at the same time is recommended for balanced performance.
