This is a Macallan Scotch Whisky barrel lid.  It was taken directly off of the barrel.  It has a backer board and mounting bracket attached to the back so that it can be easily mounted on a wall.  It has not been sanded completely smooth since being removed from the barrel so it still has that rustic look and the char on the bottom. The lid measures about 21" across.
