Shaped and slotted white (bleached) bone nut, suitable for many modern Martins and Far Eastern copies, flat bottom
This white (bleached) bone nut is prepared ready for installation in Martin and similar guitars. which require a nut with flat bottom instead of an angled one. It takes away much of the time needed to prepare a new nut blank. And the slots are accurately cut too. It has the narrower Martin spacing used on most Martins since the late 1930s (1-11/16" rather than 1-3/4" neck width). You just need to do final fitting.
