Vintage Lot of 2 Silver Fade Highball Glasses - Dorothy Thorpe Style - Early Atomic Age Barware

Do you need a couple of glasses to complete your set?  

Condition:  There are no chips or cracks.  These glasses exhibit permanent etching.  When dry, the clear parts of the glass have a cloudy appearance that disappears from sight when the glasses are wet.  Etching is commonly caused by excessive use of dishwashing soap and hot water.  I tried all of the online tricks to eliminate it, but nothing worked.  So, if you have a set that is missing a glass or two and you want an inexpensive replacement, this is your lucky day!

Update:  I added a few more photos with a white background because the black background highlights the etching and makes them look their worst. I also added a photo with the glasses filled with water to show how it lessens the appearance of the etching.
