This is the Official team folder released by Coors Brewing Company / Melling Racing for their driver Bill Elliott's team in 1984's Winston Cup season. It contains all of the handouts given to the media. This is not something that would have been handed out to fans; this is more of a media public relations packet touting how great their team is. The letter inside states that it's a "1984" packet.

The packet folds open to reveal a nice frontal view of Bill Elliott's #9 Ford, in full color; a page telling the background of Bill Elliott, titled "Bill Elliott Backgrounder" / assume a misspelling or a play-on-words; Bill Elliott's racing record from 1976 through Nov 1983, Elliott's career highlights, two additional pages of information, Bill's record so far through part of the 1984 season, Ernie Elliott's Backgrounder, George and Dan Elliott's backgrounds (separate pages for each), the history of the Elliott family, Harry Melling's background, Melling Racing's racing record for 1983, technical data for the Ford Thunderbird, the 1984 Grand National Schedule, additional information on teams Coor's Beer sponsored (Al Unser, Jr. and Tom McEwen's funny car, among others; Coor's sports and co-op phone numbers (for media people calling about racing issues, a July 1984 Coor's Beer Press Release, a one-page announcement by  the team, black and white photos of the entire team, and an 8 x 10 b/w photo of Bill's car in the pits going through a tire change / filling up of gas (a vintage photo and probably worth about $10-15 on its own)- a action scene worthy of getting Bill and Dan Elliott to actually sign the photo.

For that matter, the buyer of this rare offering should send this packet to the Elliott's in Dawsonville, GA to get the entire packet autographed- will really increase the value of the whole offering.

If you've got a 1/24th scale NASCAR model of this 1984-1985 Ford Thunderbird, or a model in a smaller size, this packet will look super displayed behind your model leaning up against your wall / cabinet. Again, it should be relatively easy to get Bill and Dan Elliott to sign this packet. Just write the Secretary of their museum in Dawsonville, GA, and ask permission to send it. Make sure you send the postage stamps to get it mailed back to you and include a mailing hard-sided envelope for the secretary to put the packet in when mailing it back to you. Let me suggest offering it to the museum if they don't have the set. They'll likely have it and will be more apt to sign it all for you since you made such a kind gesture.
