Description
This is a veteran, but still presentable, oversize, "Cinq" or 5 Francs note from "Vichy" French Algeria. It is dated March 10, 1941 during World War II.
The note was issued by the "Banque de L'Agérie". This same design had been issued with different dates since 1924. Free France had fallen to the Germans in July of 1940 and the "Vichy" regime was running the unoccupied areas of France. In November of 1942 "Operation Torch" would bring British and American troops to defeat the "Vichy" forces and occupy Algeria.
Size: 128 Millimeters or 5.04 Inches x 88 Millimeters or 3.46 Inches.
"Oversize" currency holder necessary and included.
"Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" (General Issues 1368-1960) by Albert Pick. #77b.

The note will be sent in new, "oversize" currency holder that protects it. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
