RARE BOITE EN CORNE DEDIEE A NAPOLEON
Singulière boite finement sculptée en forme de bicorne réalisée à la gloire de Napoléon Bonaparte.
Boite entièrement sculptée en corne de bouquetin, même la charnière est en corne.
Sur une face, un texte inscrit en champlevé : "Napoléon le grand chéri de la victoire. Il sut par son génie éterniser sa gloire." avec au centre une représentation de la colonne de la victoire, érigée par Napoléon de 1806 à 1810 pour commémorer la victoire d'Austerlitz.
Sur l'autre face, en forme de bicorne, une cocarde tricolore en émaux sur une incrustation en bronze.
Dimensions : longueur 8,2 cm, hauteur 4,5 cm, 
Datation : vers 1810

RARE HORN BOX DEDICATED TO NAPOLEON
Singular box finely carved in the shape of a bicorn hat made to the glory of Napoleon.
Box entirely carved in ibex horn, even the hinge is in horn.
On one side, a text inscribed in champlevé: "Napoleon the great darling of victory. By his genius he knew how to perpetuate his Glory." with in the center a representation of the victory column, erected by Napoleon from 1806 to 1810 to commemorate the victory of Austerlitz.
On the other side, in the shape of a bicorn, a tricolor enamel cockade on bronze inlay.
Dimensions: length 8.2 cm, height 4.5 cm,
Dating: circa 1810
