Alpaca is not like wool. It is hypoallergenic, light, and very warm. Worn by the Natives of Ecuador and Peru, Alpaca is known for its warmth even at high altitudes, and even when moist it holds its warmth! Why?  Nature's secret; its fibers contain microscopic air bags that make the garments very light. Like our down filled, air pocket jackets of today, the fibers act as excellent insulators and repeal water away from the body. 

Hand-wash in cold water or dry-clean. Roll in a towel to absorb the moisture from the sweater and dry more quickly, then lay flat to dry. Store neatly folded - do not hang.
