H&R 51659 Sport Lowering Springs are a premium suspension upgrade designed for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra models equipped with independent rear suspension (IRS). These sport springs lower the ride height by about 1.6 inches at the front and approximately 1.5 inches at the rear, helping to reduce the center of gravity and improve handling dynamics while maintaining a comfortable everyday ride. The progressive spring rate design helps smooth out road irregularities while delivering enhanced cornering response and reduced body roll.
Manufactured in Germany from high‑strength 54SiCr6 spring steel and engineered to H&R’s quality standards, these springs also deliver a more aggressive stance with reduced fender gap.
