Pre-08 postcard shows people getting on and off a boat at the luxurious Thousand Island House hotel in Alexandria Bay, New York. This grand hotel was built in 1873 and operated for 63 years. In addition to luxurious accommodations, it had the finest view of the river and island groups, especially from its tower. Today the land is occupied by the River Hospital. Postmarked 1907; very good condition with writing on front and some corner wear as seen in the photos.
