Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Noritake “M” 5181 Single (1) Coupe Soup Bowl. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and  serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots!

The coupe soup bowl measures approximately 7.5” in diameter and is marked with or with a slight variation of the following backstamp: “Noritake China, M, Made in Japan.” The bowl has a cream/white/ base with a tan/yellow band, and a gold leaf/berries design in addition to a gold rim/verge. The status and years of manufacture for the pattern is unknown.

Condition: Overall, the coupe soup bowls are in very good condition and look to have been only lightly used. The bowls were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, flea bites, minor glazing/manufacturer imperfections, cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the gold rim and verge, but the pieces look only lightly used.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can! Also, please refer to all pictures, as I consider pictures an essential part of my listings.

**I offer multiple item shipping discounts based upon the combined size and weight of combined items. If you are interested in multiple pieces/sets, please contact me prior to buying/offering so that I can give you the estimated shipping cost. Also, if you are interested in a partial set, let me know and I am sure we can work something out!
