The Eppy Charm company was the first U.S. company to manufacture plastic charms. I revised this listing from attributing them to the Penny King charm company to the Eppy charm company, after Frank Parisi messaged me. Frank's father Peter had purchased Eppy Charms in 1973. And some of Eppy's first plastic charms were vacuum metal plated to make them more eye appealing. Their earliest examples have a heavier thick metal plating. The newer 1960's/70's charm examples have a much lighter plating and don't have the heavier weight that the first issue charms have. They had to of been well protected while stored over those many years to be able to survive in this excellent condition. Free shipping too.
