For Sale is a Re-manufactured 1963 to 1982 Corvette Steering Gear Box. During these years, Corvettes used the same gear box for both manual and power steering applications. This gearbox was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt by LoneStar Caliper Co. It was rebuilt with new races, bearings, seals and bushings and set back to factory specs. It comes with a 5 year warranty!

These steering boxes come all black-you can add inspection paints for Judging if desired

This is an EXCHANGE PURCHASE!  You can send your box prior to us sending your new box, or we can charge a core charge and ship immediately, then we will refund the charge, if we receive a similar year re-buildable box, within 30 days.  Core charge on 1963-1968 is $125; on 1969-1982 it is $125.  I will accept either version as your core.

How can you tell the difference in the models.  1963-1968 have a cast iron top with flat head bolts & split ring lock washers securing the top, and the input splined shaft is completely round-no flat section/area.  1969-1982 uses an aluminum top with integrated washer bolts, and has a section of the input shaft that is flat-see pictures.
