Product Description
Rear Dark Tinted Tailgate Door Window Fitting Kit for VW Transporter T5 (03-15)
Fitting a window in your van conversion is one of the most visible and permanent changes you'll make — an OEM-style finish, a van that feels complete from the outside, and a living space that stays private without feeling closed in. Our privacy camper glass is tinted at 70% directly within the glass itself, not applied as a surface film. That means the tint won't peel, bubble or degrade over time, and it lets more natural light into your van interior than the 80% alternatives widely available on the market.
Every pane is toughened tempered glass, E-marked to UN/ECE R43 — the European safety standard for vehicle glazing. A black ceramic frit band runs around the inside edge of each pane, neatly concealing any cut metal from the outside and giving the finished result a clean, factory-style appearance.
Features
- E-marked toughened glass - meets the strict European safety standard UN/ECE R43
- 70% privacy tint - stained within the glass, not a film. Allows more natural light into your van than 80% blackout alternatives whilst still providing full privacy from outside
- Toughened safety glass - in the event of an accident, the glass shatters into small blunt pieces with no sharp edges
- Black ceramic frit edge - the ceramic band around the inside of the glass conceals cut metal for a clean, OEM-style finish from the outside
- Flush bonded fit - precision-formed to your van's exact panel shape for a factory-style result once fitted
- Engineered packaging - every order is packed specifically to protect glass in transit
