Up for your consideration is this rare antique Sesamee Combination Lock Padlock. For you folks that collect old locks, this one should be in the collection. This one is barely used as compared to others that have sold in the past. I am not sure of the combination....but there are 3 numbers.... So...you do the math.
According to what I have ascertained. You lift the cover, dial the right combination and
then turn the cover to the right and you can unlock the lock. There also appears to be a switch on the back, likely to help set the combo to what you want.
I do not see a date on the lock, just a long list of patent numbers on back. Last patent number coincides with... along with "Made in USA"
The last patent date puts this guy around 1927...coming up on 100 years old!!
Lock is 2 ¾" tall. Had never seen this lock before or since.
Thanks for looking!!!
