This is a vintage Imperial compote with the Heisey mark. The color is heather, and the pattern is Ipswich. The compote stands 5 1/4" tall and the top measures 6 1/2" in diameter. It is bottom marked "H" within the diamond. An Ebay member sent me the following information..."This piece was made by Imperial using a Heisey candy jar mould and hand-crimping the top rim. It was sold as a Pecan Dish. The color is Imperial's Heather. Quite a few of them out there. Imperial bought all the Heisey moulds in 1958 and reissued from them without removing the Heisey mark until 1966. Thus your marked piece was made during that period." The condition is good.
