About Mosser Glass
Mosser Glass has perfected its glassware-making process over the last 30 years in their family-owned and operated facility in Cambridge, Ohio. Using cast-iron molds, the raw materials such as soda ash and silica sand are poured in liquid form and hand-pressed to engrave the glass with the design. Once hardened, the glass is polished by a glazer which fires the glass and melts the outermost layer, leaving a smoother and shinier finish. Following the glaze, glasses go through a three and a half hour annealing process that allows them to slowly cool, preventing shattering or breaking. By blending beauty and fine craftmanship, Mosser Glass represents their longstanding legacy in every piece of glassware they make.
