Alpaca (German) Silver Necklace. This is natural Blue Agate. It ranges from a very light gray blue to a very dark blue. Every little detail has been made to make this a unique, beautiful piece. The longest length that you can make this necklace is 17 inches, you can also make it shorter by clasping it on one of the shorter links. The clasp can be opened Slightly or closed by squeezing it. What is Alpaca silver?

Alpaca silver is also known as German silver. It was created in 1823 in Germany. There was a contest held with the goal to develop an alloy that looked similar to silver. The trademark name became Alpaca (German Silver). The usual formula is 60% copper, 20% nickel, and 20% zinc.
