Here we have a License Plate Topper that features the "Boeing 247 Luxury Liner" of the 1930's. It also features "Northwest Airways" who serviced the State of Washington, Seattle, Yakima, Pasco, Kennewick, & Spokane.

The Boeing 247 was the 1st modern enclosed, all aluminum airplane to haul passengers & Mail.  75 of these great birds were built. The 1st flight was February 8th, 1933. The last flying 247 took its last flight in 2016 to Boeing Field, to be displayed in the "Museum of Flight" in Seattle.

This License Plate Topper has been made of .040 aluminum. It was powder coated with a white porcelain finish, then screen printed with 8 different colors, then with a clear powder coat with a UV inhibitor. It has the look and touch of a porcelain sign.

You will see two pictures that have the license plate attached. It is for display only. You are buying just the topper by it's self.

The silver used on the topper; is actual aluminum that has been ground to a powder. Also the gold color is actual crushed gold leaf; that has been ground to a powder, mixed with a clear enamel and screen printed on the custom plate, cut to the shape of Washington State.  This product is NOT a reproduction, but was designed by Jerry Turner; owner of Nostalgic Reflections, where we claim ALL RIGHTS to the art work used in making this License Plate Topper. 1/22/2018
