The gas lifts we supply are manufactured by the same company herman miller now use. Cheaper options are available from other sellers but they're cheap for a reason!!


Replacement Samhongsa Gas Lift can be used in place of Stabilus STAB-O-BLOC code DIN 4550-2  


Gas lift will fit Size A / B Chairs. We also sell a lifts for size C chairs - please note the measurements provided below & on the schematic


This gas lift is a single stage Class 4 and fits Herman Miller Aeron Chairs 1996 - 2012



Height to front lip of seat frame (from floor): 410mm unextended, 510mm extended - approx

Height to side seat frame connecting bolts (from floor): 490mm unextended / 590mm extended - approx

Note these lifts are approx 30mm shorter than original lifts - we have a longer lift see link below if you use your current one at or near to the top of its extension

 Gas lift measurements - Top of the lift measures 26mm widening to 28mm - this top taper measurement is what most would refer to as standard gas lift fitment size in that it fits 95% of all chairs on the market.

Bottom of the gas lift measures from 47mm and widens to 50mm.
