Large 1936 Phi Kappa Sigma Leather Pennant Hide Minnesota Washington Football

This was hung in the frat house.

Minnesota Gophers were National Champions in this year, Washington Huskies were victims to the Gophers,  and the only team to defeat them was Northwestern.

Fraternal crest in center with Latin wording: Stellis Aequus Durando.

Cross  bones and skull  as part of design.

Dimensions: 35" by 38"

This was commercially produced, there is a label on the back, which reads: L. D. Wilkins Co. College memory books, fraternity leathers programs and favors, stationery, embossing, printing, engraving. 4243 University Way Seattle. 


Neat piece, tanned leather hide and colored  leather / felt lettering sewn on  accents.

There are small pin holes on edges where it was pinned up, and shows some storage and age wear.
