This is Daoko's first album in about four years since her previous album "anima." Of the 12 tracks, 11 are new and unreleased. Daoko wrote and produced the song herself. She asked artists she respects to arrange the songs and worked with them to create a diverse and unique musical expression that expands Daoko's spiritual world. The album's cover art was created by the talented illustrator Kennosuke Hara. "Slash-&-Burn" connects Daoko's past and future, and is a stepping stone to her new music.

Daoko's long-awaited 5th album "Slash-&-Burn" will be released on her own label "Tefutefu"
