If you enjoy building children toys in wood this book is a must have. Not a “How TO” book..it assumes you know how to cut wood & assemble. It has plans & finished project photos for reference.

Good overall condition. Subjects include; An entire toy train depot with trains, towers, etc..Moving Van, Fire Engine, Doll Stroller, Rocker, play center desk, icebox, school bus, winning crib,Hutch, trestle table, camper truck, bowling pins & ball, Sleigh, rocking horse, wagon…it just goes on and on with projects… over 40 projects detailed.

 Diagrams & steps to make cute Santas for the entire family. I really like the number of photo that show steps in achieving the overall shape as well as carving the details. Color photos of finished projects. This book is about hand carving & whittling.

At first glance this book opens as a children’s story(and that indeed is promoted on the cover. But  within the 100 pages there are plans & photos of a Car Ferry, Sailboat, Marina, Dock, Barge, Crane, Ferris Wheel, rocking Horse, wooden bank, stroller, wagon, cement mixer, front end loader, crane, steam roller and more.

Not a “How TO” book..it assumes you know how to cut wood & assemble.
