This is 4" of 136 rail.  I sell new, or nearly new rail.  I don't sell scrap or found or scrounged rail.  Rails usually have some surface rust.  They clean up nicely with a wire wheel, and can go to mirror with flapper wheel. Then paint or warm it and apply BLO.
