What is UV Glue?

 

UV Glue is Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive (LOCA) specifically formulated for bonding the outer touchscreen glass to the digitizer in a smartphone display assembly. UV LCD Glue is the optimum choice for bonding screen glass to digitizers. It's unique formula improves and maximizes the optical characteristics of the device and offers the easiest application with out the need for expensive tools and machines.

Without UV glue there is an air gap between the glass and the digitizer, which, if the glass and screen aren't perfectly mated, makes part of the screen look like there's a puddle under it.

 

How to use UV Glue?

 

Apply 0.5-2 ml to the center of the digitizer in a line.UV Glue requires only 50% to 80% of the glue needed when using generic LOCA formulas. Slowly place the glass lens onto the digitizer. Cure the glue with UV light for 3-5 minutes.

 

Please note excess glue may be pushed into your phone when you apply the glass. The glue will not damage your phone, but the uncured leaking glue will seep for a couple of days until it is gone.
