Textured or texturized vegetable protein (TVP), also known as textured soy protein (TSP), soy meat, or soya chunks is a defatted soy flour product, a by-product of extracting soybean oil.It is often used as a meat analogue or meat extender.It is quick to cook, with a protein content comparable to certain meats.



Method of preparation


Soak fortune soya nuggets in salted hot water for 5 minutes and strain away the excess water . wash with cold water and squeeze thoroughly


Add curry mix sachet and let it marinate for 3 minutes. Heat a little oil and temper ground ginger & garlic, rampe, curry leaves, onions and green chillies.


Add Marinated nuggets, cook for 3 minutes.


Add 1 cup (200ml) of water or coconut milk,

A chopped tomato, salt to taste , and simmer for 3 minutes,
