Glass Quarter Globe Wall Lamp, from the style of this I think it might of been from a movie theater or possibly a fancy night club.  This is blue and white with some hints of green and brown.  Lighted images are taken with 7 watt bulbs installed.

The plug on this indicates that this was rewired quite a while ago, you may want to rewire the fixture with a three prong grounded plug for safety.  This appears to of been made to hang on a wall, possibly up against the ceiling, but due to the thinness of the metal strap in the fixture I would suggest using at least two hangers, one at each end of the metal strap to make the fixture sturdy and safe.  This has some scratches and scuffing to the outer surface (see image 6).  The left top edge of the glass globe  has a long edge chip which actually isn't very noticeable and doesn't have sharp edges and there are a few other small edge chips on this (see image 4).  And finally, the long ground edged of this has a couple of lines pretty much the whole length of the globe which could be cracks but to me they look like they are from the manufacturing process (enlarge image 8 to see).
