Made By Cooking Concepts in China. It comes in sealed plastic bag.  

Made out of tempered glass - strong, antimicrobial, shatterproof. Rubber feet to protect counter, non-slip. 

I also have the same design cutting board / trivet in round size (approx. 8" Dia.)

It Could also make a great trivet / hot plate, or cheese serving board.
