This stunning high grade old Kingman turquoise is gorgeous. TByrd found and matched the stones and designed the twisted trim around deep bezel for this heart shaped turquoise ring. Navajo Avin Joe made that design happen. It is a lovely ring.

This quality of stone is hard to find anymore. Mined in the 1970's in Kingman, its quality ha never been equaled.

The Kingman Copper mine (Mineral Park) has been around since about 1880’s. The turquoise rock that was brought out of the mine in the 1970’s and 1980’s has been considered some of the best quality turquoise and the thought was that this would be the way the rock was always going to be. So much of this really great rock was not put aside as special. In comparison, today’s rock mined at Kingman is quite mediocre. So the only way to find this quality rock is to get it from someone’s vintage stash from almost 50 years ago. That is exactly what this lovely necklace set is made of.

We ship every day Monday through Friday via USPS First Class Mail. Your order will ship within 48 hours Monday through Friday except holidays. Fifty dollars in insurance is included on all orders.

Returns Policy

With each purchase we allow for a provisional 30 day inspection period with all tags and materials attached. If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition with all tags and materials attached within 30 days of receipt. You will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.

We are extremely reasonable, but the inspection offer is provisional--exclusively at our option. This is a service that most companies would only offer to established account customers. Each of our pieces is unique and individually photographed. If we feel that the returned piece is in any way damaged, or different than the piece that we originally sent, we will return the item to you and no refund will be offered or made.
