• This is a rare model - since it was commisioned by the church, very few copies were made - might be your last chance!
  • Wood House Model Shelf Stander of the Mountville Church of the Brethren in Mountville, Lancaster County , Pennsylvania
  • The congregation was founded in Mountville in 1881, and the current church was built in 1961 on the site of the original meetinghouse
  • The Church of the Brethren is an Anabaptist church, like the Mennonites and Amish of Lancaster County, all originating from the Schwarzenau Brethren of Germany
  • The model was commissioned by the church in 2006 to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of the congregation
  • HAND PAINTED by the artist, VERY DETAILED painting, and signed by her on the bottom, Faline 1995. Heavy, solid wood.
  • This is a larger than usual model - 7 3/4" wide x 5 1/4" tall x 3/4" thick
  • From her designer house of Cat's Meow and has their logo on one corner on the back.
  • The familiar Faline iconic BLACK CAT Casper is up in the tower
  • Perfect for wall mounting or prop up in display cabinets or shelves
  • This is a LARGE model - Sized 8" wide by 4" tall and about 3/4" thick
  • Very nice vintage condition - colors on the front are fresh and bright.  Some very light edge wear and very minor rubs and marks on the front side - displays beautifully.  The back side, which does not have the design, shows some white spots and slight edge wear, but nothing serious. No chips.. Detail in the handpainting is great!
