A very rare book of the printed addresses given by Leonard Wood in 1915. Famous at the time, more famous after World War I, has a major army base in Missouri named for him.
The book is bound in red/purple cloth, 76 pages, and is approximately 5.5 x 8 inches.
Corners are bumped, some fading to spine, some soiling to boards, library numbers inked to spine, wear to edges, some loss to head of spine. Internally clean and unmarked save for glue residue to front paste down and glue residue and stamp to ffep. Pages 1-6 are loosening but generally binding is tight. Top edge gilt, fore and bottom edge pages are deckled, tissue guard to frontispiece.
