Copy of Megatouch ION, Force or MAXX game software installation CD or DVD set for the edition year of your choice. Please use the dropdown menus above to choose.  ION is also the system platform in Aurora, RX, and all three system platforms occur in various types of cabinets.  If changing to a different annual games edition, the security key device in the machine must also be replaced to match, and the key is not included with disks.  Please contact us if uncertain! :)

MAXX Crown is very similar to Force 2006, as is MAXX Jade to Force 2005, Sapphire to 2004, Ruby to 2003, and Emerald to 2002. If you have a Force system, 2007.5 is great for folks who miss the Merit-thon's, Boxglide, and other older favorites that disappeared in 2008. ION 2006.5 likewise has the best older games plus funny attract mode video of real people playing at a bar. Be sure that you have the specific security key for the Megatouch platform and year that you want, and/or please check out our other eBay items including the CD/DVD players and cables suited to performing Megatouch software installs, a few of the older security keys, and replacement keyless (no key needed) plug 'n play hard-drives as a simpler alternative to running CD/DVD updates. We have many other Megatouch parts not necessarily listed on ebay. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions!  :)

This listing is for a custom-burned CD or DVD copy of the Megatouch software installation disks for edition of your choice, nothing more.. You must already have your own Megatouch game system, the correct disk drive and cables, and know how to perform the installation.  Disks are guaranteed to be perfect and identical in performance to the originals from which they were copied.  Items are made to order, not mass produced, so quantities are limited. Detailed installation instructions and other tips available on a friendly basis.

Note to meticulous collectors interested in pre-2005.5 Megatouch editions:  Unless your game still has a functional original Merit hard disk drive, Force 2003 thru Force 2005 will present as the same year's Maxx edition, but with nearly the same games and appearance as Force and still operational with the associated Force security key.  Still fun to play either way! All disks available here provide a full installation regardless of what was previously installed, as long as the correct system type is selected. Questions welcomed!

Megatouch Tips!: Keep EVO heat sinks and airways clean and all fans spinning at top speed! (Lower fans blow upward, top fans blow out. If any doubt at all, replace fans with new ones.)  Renew CPU heatsink compound if you're handy with that sort of thing. Be meticulous about layout of internal wiring and connectors so when you close the monitor cabinet, the electronics aren't being crushed nor interfering with fans.  Replace CPU fan if self-test speed reports less than 3500rpm. Confirm that power supply voltages are correct, and if the power supply gets very hot, replace with one rated for 250 to 300Watts or more, which runs cooler and helps all components last longer.  Watch for bulging tops on failing can-shaped electrolytic capacitors, but don't replace them yourself unless you have significant soldering experience.  If game does nothing at all when switched on, possibly just dead button cell CMOS battery on motherboard. Read about jumper-starting ATX power supplies (or write me), gently replace battery, connect a keyboard to the game's motherboard, startup with delete button pressed, set Fail-Safe Defaults, then set Optimized Defaults, set BIOS date and time, disable any boot device other than ATAPI CD and IDE, set to Power-On after power failure.  Exit saving changes. On Midway Infinity, no jumper-startup needed, just replace CMOS battery, press F1 or F2 at start-up, set time & date, set to Power-On after power failure, disable floppy A drive and set IDE as first and only boot device.  Exit saving changes.
