switch type:	NC --- or --- NO	NC - normally closed. Output is active, when sensor is NOT triggered.   NO - normally open. Output is active, when sensor is triggered.
output:	NPN --- or --- PNP	NPN output is closed to GND, when output is active   PNP output is powered from supply voltage, when output is active

Standard parameters are NO - normally open, NPN
