These Gripper truss rod wrenches work on truss rod nuts whether they are new or chewed up.
Each wrench has a 3/8"-long end that tapers from slightly undersize to slightly oversize, giving you a snug fit to turn the nut and avoid a costly replacement job.
The length, comfortable rubberized handles, durability and variety of sizes let you perform formerly difficult truss rod adjustments with ease.
The 1/8" allen nut single-bend with 2" reach and the 1/8" allen nut single-bend with 5-3/8" reach provide for clearance on 6-in-line pegheads.
The 5mm soundhole nut single-bend 2" reach is for pre-August 2007 Martins.
The 4mm soundhole nut triple-bend with 5-3/4" reach and the 5mm soundhole nut single bend 4-1/2" reach are for recent Martins. In some models the truss rod nut is further away from the soundhole than was
the case in pre-August 2007 models, and just needs a right angle wrench with a longer reach.
In others (as with older Larrivees) it is tucked away behind a top brace, which needs the triple-bend version.
