You are bidding on one; 1940'S FIGURAL BISQUE OPEN MOUTH MAN'S HEAD ASHTRAY

1940's Bisque Figural Man's Head Ashtray, open mouth, smoking ears, hand painted, 5 1/2" tall.  It is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or damage.  There are some paint variations commonly seen in these old Japanese ceramic pieces. 

This mustachioed fellow has a monocle and holes in his ears for the smoke to come out.  The lettering on the front says "For He's a Jolly good Fellow".

It is marked on the bottom "Occupied Japan", which dates it to 1948 - 1952, right after World War II.
