These taps are a green ringed tap and are best suited for stainless steels and tough materials.    

Spiral Point.  Suitable for tapping Through Holes due to the special flute geometry and excellent chip evacuation.

Suitable for stainless steel, austenitic stainless, magnetic soft steels, structural steels.

Special Coating for stainless steel taps gives incredible tapping performance and tool life. The hardslick coating is a special coating which as sliding and lubricating properties combined with hardness of approx. 3,000 hv and is temperature resistant up to approx. 800 deg.c.
