The Korean Defense Service Medal Certificate, honoring your Veteran’s service and sacrifice while serving during a period after 1954 in South Korea in the defense of the Republic of Korea. This Korean Defense Service Medal Certificate is customized for the Veteran and their period of service. The certificate is printed on high quality 110 lb weight certificate card stock with state of the art laser printing. The Korea Defense Service Medal is a decoration presented by the United States Armed Forces to individuals who served in the Korean Theater after July 28, 1954, following the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement. To be eligible, service members must have served at least 30 consecutive or 60 cumulative days in the Korean Theater. Service time may be waived when a service member has required medical evacuation after having been wounded in battle or has served in aircrew flights that totaled more than 30 days of duty in Korean airspace.
